Shree Kadamba Muni who was a gandhara (chief disciple) of the 2nd tirthankar Lord Ajitnath achieved liberation here and hence it is called Kadambgiri. Many other blessed souls have also achieved liberation here. There are five main temples on this mountain. It is approximately 20kms away from Palitana.
This tirth was dear to Pujya Acharya Nemisuri Maharaj Saheb and he initiated renovations to the temples here.
