Amizharā Pārsvanāth

The region around Sangli in Maharashtra was once the capital of the Chalukya Empire in the 12th century. In this city is a magnificent Jain temple which has an ancient murti of Amizharā Pārsvanāth. It is believed to have been consecrated around 2300 years ago by King Samprati.
