It is believed that this ancient tirth was buried underground and once a Shravak dreamt that he needs to unearth it. The majestic idol of Lord Neminath Bhagwan is thought to be over 2000 years old.
The goddess of knowledge, Saraswati Mata’s idol is also very old.
The temple was badly damaged during the earthquake in 2000 and was restored to its original glory by 2007.
