Katraj Aagam Mandir

Katraj Aagam Mandir is on a hilltop just off the Pune-Satara highway. Inside the temple there is a 12 feet, golden coloured murti of Lord Mahaveer made of panch dhatu (alloy of 5 metals – gold, silver, copper, zinc and iron) and weighs about 5 tonnes.

Within the temple complex there is a magnificent Jal Mandir akin to the Jal Mandir in Pawapuri. Around the periphery of the temple, Jain Aagams (scriptures) written on copper plates are placed on the walls. The temple was constructed with the inspiration of Pujya Acharyashree Daulatsagarsuriji. Murti of Padmavati Mata was consecrated in 1999.
